European Province
We will be celebrating Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee of Profession in Vows on Saturday 9th December at St Mary's Church, May Road, Plaistow, E13 9BQ at 12 noon. Bishop Stephen Cottrell will preside at the Eucharist, Sue will preach, and the service will be followed by a celebration lunch, also held at the church. This will be a wonderful celebration for our Community, and we would like as many Community members to be present as possible.
Cristian Michael will be moving from Glasshampton to Hilfield on 9th November, initially for a year. John has moved to 113 Gillott Road in Birmingham, and Eric Michael and Edmund will move to Gillott Road around the third week of November, thus closing the Newcastle house.
Robert has reached Assisi and is spending a few days there before returning to England. Benedict was at Alnmouth on 24th October in order to give Micael Christoffer a blessing for his new ministry as brother in charge at Alnmouth Friary.
Martin John has gone to Hong Kong for three weeks at the invitation of the Archbishop of HK with Christopher John and Alfred Boonkong. It is good we can work with the Province of the Divine Compassion and it is a good blurring of the boundaries.

On Saturday, October 28, Brother Ambrose Cristobal SSF will make life vows in our Society. The Right Reverend Jon Bruno, Bishop of Los Angeles and Protector of this Province, will receive his vows at the Church of the Epiphany in Los Angeles, CA.
On Monday, October 30, a sung mass and celebration at San Damiano Friary will mark the 50th Anniversary of Profession of Brother Robert Hugh SSF. The mass will be celebrated and preached by the Right Reverend Bill Swing, retired Bishop of California.
On Wednesday, November 1, following a special meeting of the Provincial Chapter, Mr. James E. Calabro will be clothed as a Novice in our Society at San Damiano Friary. He shall be known as Brother James Nathaniel SSF.
Turn, turn, turn! Cycles of life continue! What an exciting time to be part of SSF in the Province of the Americas. Peace and All Good!
